Wizzie Words is powered by Oxford Languages, so every definition, example, synonym and antonym comes from a trusted, world-class source.

For many words, simplified definitions are also available to help children under 11 and beginner learners better understand their meaning. To view a simplified definition, tap the [?] icon next to the standard definition.

Simplified definitions are not available for every word. They are generated by Wizzie AI and, while designed to be clear and accurate, AI can occasionally make mistakes.

Wizzie Words currently supports 26 commonly spoken languages: Arabic, Bengali, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), French, German, Greek, Gujarati, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Kurdish, Lithuanian, Polish, Portuguese, Punjabi, Romanian, Sinhala, Spanish, Tamil, Thai, Ukrainian, Urdu and Vietnamese. This makes reading in English accessible to speakers of these languages, and is equally useful if you're learning one of them.
